Abstract:
The aim of the article is to study entrepreneurial activity within the context of generational theory in order to determine strategic directions for interaction within a multi-generational environment. The article analyzes the existing approaches to defining «entrepreneurship». The text does not differentiate between approaches to entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurship. The relevance of discussing the specific features of generational development is substantiated for creating and strengthening integration processes in communication within the characteristics of entrepreneurial activity according to the distribution defined by generational theory. Attention is also drawn to other approaches that expand the boundaries of world perception within generational theory. It is proposed to consider the characteristics of entrepreneurial activity according to the generational distribution for further analysis to build a system of integration processes in communication between generations to support and develop entrepreneurship. Modern approaches to defining «entrepreneurship» demonstrate the multidimensionality of this phenomenon. Overall, the results of the analysis of scientific sources confirm the relevance of integrating generational theory into applied economic research on entrepreneurial activity, especially in the context of educational programs in entrepreneurship and management, the development of youth policies, support for startups, and the development of the digital economy and its further integration into the everyday processes of society. Before beginning to introduce communication transformation, it is necessary to understand the nuances and characteristics of the development of each generation in order to find points of intersection. Further research should be directed towards studying the motivational strategies of representatives of Generation Z and Alpha in the context of the wartime and post-wartime reconstruction of Ukraine. It is worth noting that these outlined strategies must be consistent with the trends of the development strategy for entrepreneurial activity.

Keywords: entrepreneurial activity, generational theory, transformation and development, entrepreneurial traits.
