Study of the Dynamics of Employment and Salary Scales in the Agricultural Sector of the Economy of Ukraine (p. 119 - 124)
The article is aimed to study the dynamics of employment and salary scales in the agricultural sector of the economy of Ukraine. The main indicators of agricultural employment, that reflect the process of formation of the agricultural labor market, was analyzed. The changes that have taken place in employment sphere by economic activity and with regard to the regions of Ukraine, as well as level of employment in agriculture of citizens, were examined. Reasons for the low price of the rural labor force were provided, comparative analysis of the salary scale by sectors of the national economy was carried out. The author illustrates the dynamics of needs of the agricultural enterprises compared to the overall situation on the labor market in the country, as well as the dynamics of employment relating the citizens, not involved in labor activities during the decennial period of 2002-2012. Economic measures to expand the scope of agricultural employment and the improvement of well-being of the rural population are proposed.
