Abstract:
The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of creating and developing industrial parks, which serve as an important element of the modern economy by providing a platform for production integration, infrastructure development, and investment attraction, which are critically important for enhancing the competitiveness of countries. The article emphasizes the relevance of the topic in the context of the transformation of the Ukrainian economy, where industrial parks can become a catalyst for recovery, capable of creating favorable conditions for the development of new enterprises, the implementation of modern technologies, and the execution of government programs supporting small and medium-sized businesses. The article contains a review of existing industrial park models worldwide, their features, and advantages. The main factors affecting the efficiency of industrial parks, as well as their potential risks and barriers, are identified. A classification of industrial parks based on legal form of ownership, industry specialization, and regional affiliation is proposed. Significant attention is paid to the role of the State in the development of industrial parks, particularly through the provision of tax incentives, subsidies, and infrastructure development. The article’s conclusions emphasize the importance of industrial parks as a tool for adapting the industrial sector to global conditions, as well as for implementing government programs that support business. It is substantiated that the development of industrial parks in Ukraine requires a comprehensive approach, including active State involvement and the adaptation of the best global practices.
