Abstract:
Effective management of the resource system is critically important for ensuring the survival and development of the agricultural sector both during wartime and in the post-war period. In the practical context of Ukraine’s current post-war recovery conditions, ensuring sustainable economic growth of the agricultural sector has acquired strategic importance. The aim of this study is to identify modern approaches to substantiating the system and mechanism for managing the economic growth potential of an agricultural enterprise under contemporary conditions. It was determined that the economic development of agricultural business entities should be shaped based on the conception and modern model of developing their strategies, taking into account the dynamic requirements of the external environment. It has been demonstrated that, in post-war recovery conditions, the key factors are infrastructure modernization, market diversification, and the development of cooperation. An analysis of trends in the agricultural sector during the period of martial law has also been conducted, which allowed identifying the main directions of transformation of agribusiness and its management mechanisms. It is found that, under the current conditions of post-war recovery, Ukraine’s agribusiness demonstrates both new opportunities and serious challenges. Among significant achievements, the growth of agricultural exports and foreign currency revenues of agricultural enterprises has been highlighted, reflected in the positive dynamics of the livestock industry, which had suffered from the crisis throughout almost the entire war period. The results of the harvested crops in the sowing sector also indicate prospects for increasing the economic potential of agricultural enterprises. Despite the risks and the war, yields have been maintained, and the scale of production remains substantial. Despite these positive shifts, a serious drawback has been identified, associated with the loss of production resources, a reduction in sown areas, and increased costs for farmers. It has been substantiated that the application of innovations, digitalization, and ecological practices creates a sustainable foundation for the long-term development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector, as well as the need to utilize financial instruments for support and innovation incentives to minimize risks under current economic conditions. It is concluded that the coordinated application of these approaches will contribute to generating a positive synergistic effect and the sustainable development of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises.
