Abstract:
The aim of this article is to identify the components of the formation of the financial potential of agricultural enterprises in the context of taking into account the specifics of their activities and directions of financial development. As a result of analyzing approaches to interpreting financial potential, the essence of an enterprise’s financial potential has been determined, and its key characteristics allocated. Considering the specifics of their activities, the main problematic aspects in ensuring a high level of financial potential of agricultural enterprises are reflected. The peculiarities of the activities of agricultural enterprises that characterize a sufficient level of their financial potential have been systematized. The stages of formation of the financial potential of agricultural enterprises have been identified, each specifying a certain set of actions aimed at achieving high results in ensuring it: 1) resource formation stage; 2) resource utilization stage; 3) resource accumulation stage; 4) stage of forming opportunities and prospects. The main factors affecting the determination of the components forming the financial potential of agricultural enterprises are highlighted. The components of forming the financial potential of agricultural enterprises have been identified, including: production, sales, export, budget and tax, investment, infrastructure, organizational, informational, and credit components. A brief description of each of the components forming the financial potential of agricultural enterprises has been provided, which will allow, in the future, for the clear development of a methodology for its analytical study, taking into account all areas of enterprise development. The identified components of forming the financial potential of agricultural enterprises enable a more thorough approach to identifying risks and threats in ensuring it, and also serve as a foundation for developing management tasks and ways to address them.
