Abstract:
The article explores contemporary approaches to managing labor discipline in the context of the digital transformation of the labor market. The authors analyze the disciplinary policy experience of three countries: Ukraine, Germany, and the USA. The content of classical, motivational, and hybrid models of labor discipline, which combine control, support, digital monitoring, and ethical standards, is examined. The article emphasizes challenges arising from the shift to hybrid and remote work, including difficulties in monitoring working hours, reduced employee engagement, and the need to revise traditional tools of influence. Special attention is given to the role of digital technologies, managers’ emotional intelligence, transparent internal policies, and feedback in shaping staff discipline. A comparative analysis of regulatory frameworks, HR practices, and corporate culture in the studied countries is conducted. The importance of developing a long-term labor discipline management strategy based on the principles of mutual trust, procedural transparency, and flexibility in responding to new challenges has been emphasized. It has been determined that an administrative model of discipline management prevails in Ukraine, gradually evolving under the influence of international standards. The benefits of a preventive approach to avoiding discipline violations through the development of corporate culture and systematic training have been analyzed. Recommendations have been made for integrating successful practices from Germany and the USA into the Ukrainian context. The application of foreign disciplinary management practices in Ukraine must take into account the legal system, digital maturity, and employee mindset. The conclusion has been drawn on the necessity of systematically integrating cultural, legal, and technological aspects into the process of forming an effective disciplinary policy in enterprises. The research results can be used to improve human resource management systems under conditions of dynamic change and to enhance organizational efficiency.

Keywords: labor discipline, human resource management, digital transformation, hybrid employment, disciplinary responsibility.
