Abstract:
The relevance of the obtained results is determined by the low level of international competitiveness of domestic business entities, which is caused by the influence of negative institutional and financial-economic factors that significantly weaken the security and viability of economic agents. The aim of the article is to identify and substantiate the means of strengthening the financial and economic security of the foreign economic activities of domestic business entities. In the context of Ukraine, the urgent task is the implementation of comprehensive measures aimed at improving the security environment of international financial and economic activities, the substantiation of which constitutes the aim of this article. Priority directions of the State policy in this area have been allocated, focusing on minimizing risks for subjects of international financial and economic activity, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. Further scientific research should focus on the development of financial instruments and the analysis of factors that facilitate improving access of domestic business entities to international financial resources. The main components of this mechanism have been identified (financial, resource, investment, insurance, and debt components) as well as the factors that ensure the resilience of business entities in conditions of armed conflict. Within the financial component, emphasis is placed on ensuring stability and sustainability of income and expenditures, maintaining an adequate level of profitability and return on investment, preserving acceptable volumes of income and financial-economic indicators, including the regularity of business processes, maintaining liquidity and solvency, replenishment of working capital, and prevention of crisis phenomena in the financing of economic operations. The resource component involves maintaining a high level of wages and motivation to preserve the personnel potential in crisis conditions, as well as the formation of insurance and reserve stocks of necessary raw materials and energy resources.
