Abstract:
The article explores the methodological principles for assessing an enterprise’s business resilience in conditions of high external turbulence. Business resilience is viewed as the enterprise’s ability to adapt to changes, withstand crises, recover swiftly, and ensure stable operation under uncertainty. The author substantiates the need for a comprehensive approach to evaluating this phenomenon, which encompasses not only financial indicators but also organizational, personnel, innovation, reputational, and strategic aspects. The study proposes a qualitative methodology for assessing business resilience, based on tools such as content analysis of public communications, expert evaluations, risk mapping, Value Chain Analysis, scenario testing, and the assessment of resilient leadership. Using the example of LLC «ATB-Market», a qualitative business resilience profile was constructed, which made it possible to identify the company’s strengths and weaknesses. In particular, the highest scores were given to reputational and organizational resilience, while the human resources aspect proved to be the least developed. Risk mapping allowed for identifying critical business threats, including geopolitical factors and logistical disruptions. Value Chain Analysis revealed that the strongest links are logistics, marketing, and procurement, whereas HR and technological development need strengthening. The proposed methodology enables forming a comprehensive understanding of the enterprise’s business resilience, identifying key threats and growth opportunities, and developing efficient managerial decisions to ensure stability during a crisis. The research findings can be used in strategic planning, crisis management, and shaping sustainable development policies for enterprises.

Keywords: resilience, business resilience, turbulent environment, resilience assessment, qualitative analysis, managerial decisions, risks, Value Chain Analysis, assessment of enterprise business resilience.
