Abstract:
The article examines both theoretical and practical aspects of combining ethical principles and compliance approaches in modern economic management. The key prerequisites for the feasibility of integrating ethics and compliance as instruments for building trust, responsibility, and transparency in organizational processes are identified. The authors highlight that in the context of globalization and increasing regulatory pressure, companies face challenges that demand not only adherence to legal requirements but also compliance with high ethical standards. An analysis is carried out of potential conflicts between legal obligations and moral imperatives in international business. Special attention is given to the role of corporate culture, leadership support, and the impact of cultural characteristics on the implementation of ethics-compliance strategies. A structural model for integrating ethical values with a compliance system to enhance the efficiency of economic management is proposed. It is concluded that ethics and compliance should not be regarded as separate or conflicting elements, but as complementary components of a unified management system. Their synergy allows not only adherence to external standards but also internal business resilience. This material will be useful for management professionals, lawyers, economists, and researchers of corporate behavior.
