Abstract: The article presents the results of a study on the implementation of digital technologies in enterprises across sectors of the economy. Its relevance is due to the active adoption of digital technologies in enterprise operations and the need to assess their impact on operational efficiency while considering sector-specific characteristics. To achieve the research aim, which was to identify the features of digital technology implementation across Ukraine’s economic sectors, a comparative analysis of digital technology use by sector in 2022 and 2024 was conducted. The study was carried out considering indicators that reflect the integration of digital technologies and enterprise performance. To characterize the level of digital technology integration, indicators included in the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) were used; for efficiency, the operational profitability indicator was applied. To evaluate the nature and strength of the relationship between the implementation of digital technologies and the performance efficiency of enterprises across economic sectors, the Spearman rank correlation method was used. The analysis was conducted taking into account groups of economic activities and their distribution by technology level. The study showed that digitalization encompasses all areas of the economy. It was noted that digital technologies are most actively adopted by enterprises in the information and communication sector, scientific and technical activities, and the trade and services sector; the greatest impact on performance efficiency comes from the implementation of ERP systems and Big Data Analytics; the highest levels of digitalization were observed in the high-tech and medium-high-tech sectors. According to the calculation of rank correlation coefficients, it has been confirmed that the strength and direction of the relationship vary depending on the technological level of the industry, ranging from predominantly positive and stable for high-tech and medium-high-tech sectors to variable and unstable for other sectors of the economy. The study results can be used when assessing the investment attractiveness of economic sectors, as well as in the process of developing enterprise transformation strategies, taking into account their industry affiliation and trends in the adoption of digital technologies.
