Abstract:
In the contemporary scientific environment, debates persist regarding the efficiency of individual regulatory mechanisms, the balance between State regulation and business self-regulation, the trade-off between economic growth and environmental constraints, as well as the role of socio-cultural factors in the process of greening the economy. Most recent studies focus on technological and financial instruments, while institutional and behavioral aspects remain less explored. In this context, there is a need to systematize current scientific approaches to State regulation of green economy development, identify key trends and contradictions in the research, and outline directions for further scientific research. The aim of this article is to summarize and critically analyze contemporary scientific publications addressing the issues of State regulation of green economy development, with the goal of identifying the main research directions, State intervention instruments, and prospects for their adaptation within the national economy. Two main directions of scientific research are distinguished: one focusing on the theoretical foundation of green economy development, and the other focusing on the practical instruments of State regulation in green economy development. An analysis of the research landscape concerning State regulation of green economy development has been conducted, based on the key terms most frequently encountered in publications. It has been determined that the key terms most frequently found in publications are: industry, green technologies, technology, natural resource use efficiency, policy, system, sustainable development goal, climate change. The combination of these terms reflects the institutional-technological focus of research on the development of the green economy.

Keywords: State support, government regulation, green economy, green taxes, low-carbon iron metallurgy, circular approach, instruments of State support.
