Abstract: The aim of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and to develop a geo-economic model of Ukraine’s postwar reconstruction in the context of the transformation of the global economy, which is characterized by the strengthening of deglobalization processes, regionalization, and changes in the structure of international economic relations. The methodological basis of the study is a system approach, which allowed considering the economic system as a set of interrelated elements. The work uses methods of comparative analysis – to study international experience in postwar reconstruction; the structural-functional method – to determine the role of institutions, investments, and technologies; the economic-logical method – to generalize theoretical provisions; as well as the modeling method – to form the author’s geoeconomic development model. As a result of the study, it has been found that efficient postwar reconstruction of Ukraine requires a comprehensive approach based on a combination of institutional reforms, active involvement of investment resources, integration into global production chains, and development of innovative potential. It has been proved that the synergy of these factors ensures the formation of a sustainable model of economic growth and enhances the competitiveness of the national economy in the context of global transformations. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of an author’s geoeconomic model of Ukraine’s economic transformation, which takes into account the interconnection of institutional, investment, technological, and foreign economic factors of development in the context of postwar recovery, as well as in identifying the key determinants of geoeconomic transformation. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in their potential use in the formation of State economic policy, the development of postwar reconstruction strategies, increasing the country’s investment attractiveness, and ensuring the efficient integration of Ukraine into the global economy.
Keywords: geoeconomics, postwar reconstruction of Ukraine, investments, global chains, economic transformation.
