Abstract:
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation and development of security-oriented management in organizations under the wartime threats. The relevance of the study is determined by the transformation of enterprise operating conditions during the wartime economy, which is characterized by increased uncertainty, multidimensional risks, disruption of supply chains, resource constraints, and institutional instability. Under such conditions, traditional approaches to strategic management, primarily focused on achieving competitive advantages and long-term growth, require significant revision and integration of a security component into managerial decision-making processes. The aim of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and to determine the directions for the formation and development of security-oriented management in organizations under the wartime threats. The methodological framework of the study is based on a system approach and includes methods of comparative analysis, generalization of scientific sources, structural-functional modeling, and conceptualization of managerial processes. The concept of security-oriented management is specified as an integrated system of strategic and operational management in which security acts as a system-forming dominant in managerial decision-making. The main groups of the wartime threats affecting organizations are systematized, and their impact on the transformation of management systems is identified. A structural model of security-oriented management is proposed, consisting of five interrelated components: strategic, risk-adaptive, resource-protective, institutional-communication, and delegative-arbitration contours. The integration of these components forms a comprehensive management system aimed at enhancing organizational resilience, ensuring business continuity, and adapting enterprises to the wartime risks. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of a conceptual model of security-oriented management for organizations operating under the wartime threats and in substantiating the feasibility of applying delegative-arbitration mechanisms for coordinating managerial processes. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the proposed model to improve enterprise resilience, enhance strategic management, and support organizational adaptation to conditions of wartime turbulence.
