Abstract: The article examines the impact of economic instability caused by the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, on the structure and value of domestic enterprises’ assets. The dynamics of key macroeconomic indicators, the extent of damage and destruction of tangible and intangible assets by sector, the state of the credit market, and the banking system are analyzed. Tools of State support and international financial assistance for restoring entrepreneurial potential are systematized. Key challenges are identified: reduction of the production base, asset depreciation, an increase in non-performing loans, and the aggravation of liquidity problems. A set of measures to stabilize enterprise assets under continuing martial law and post-wartime recovery is proposed. The impact of economic instability on the formation, structure, and efficient use of assets of Ukrainian enterprises under martial law conditions is studied. The modern macroeconomic and microeconomic factors that cause the destabilization of business activities have been analyzed, in particular the reduction of production volumes, investment and entrepreneurial activity, inflationary processes, devaluation of the national currency, destruction of production and transport infrastructure, disruption of logistics chains, and the increase of financial and operational risks. The features of the transformation of non-current and current assets of enterprises, changes in their value, structure, liquidity, and turnover under conditions of increased economic uncertainty have been identified. The work substantiates the negative impact of war risks on the level of financial stability of enterprises, weakening of their investment potential, and loss of part of the assets due to physical destruction or forced conservation. Approaches to improving asset management efficiency under crisis conditions are proposed through optimizing their structure, diversifying sources of financing, and implementing anti-crisis management solutions. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the comprehensive study of the impact of economic instability caused by martial law on enterprise assets, taking into account the current conditions of the national economy. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using them to develop measures to ensure financial security and adapt enterprises to prolonged crisis phenomena.
