Abstract: The article proposes a comprehensive approach to the economic substantiation of the implementation of TPMS and ATIS systems to reduce operating costs of logistics companies in conditions of high competition. The aim of the study is to quantitatively and qualitatively assess the economic efficiency of using autonomous tire monitoring and inflation systems in freight transport as a tool for reducing operating costs of logistics companies. The research methodology is based on a comprehensive approach: system and structural analysis – to study operating costs and the impact of pressure on vehicle operation indicators; comparative analysis – to assess the effectiveness of TPMS and ATIS; economic and mathematical modeling – to verify the effect through fuel economy and tire life indicators; investment analysis – to assess the payback of decisions; general scientific methods (induction, deduction) – to generalize conclusions. It was found that the use of TPMS/ATIS ensures: minimization of tire pressure deviation from 1.5 bar to a level of less than 0.1 bar; increases energy efficiency of movement; prevents premature tire tread wear by up to 17%; prevents the increase in diesel fuel consumption from the base 30.00 l/100 km to 30.51 l/100 km, which amounts to 615.16 l per year (in monetary equivalent in current prices – UAH 54.2 thousand) per transport unit. The total economic effect of implementing TPMS/ATIS in the baseline scenario is UAH 102.849 thousand per year per transport unit. Scaling this solution to the fleet level is multiplicative in nature, which significantly increases the profitability of logistics activities. The results of the investment analysis confirm the high efficiency of implementing TPMS/ATIS. In the baseline scenario, the payback period (PP) is 17 months with a return on investment (ROI) of 71.9%. The optimistic scenario assumes a reduction in the payback period to 7 months (ROI = 171.4%), and the pessimistic one is invested up to 28.5 months (ROI = 32.1%). The scientific novelty of the work lies in the development of a comprehensive methodological approach, which, unlike existing ones, integrates the technical parameters of tire degradation directly into the financial indicators of the efficiency of the logistics enterprise. The sustainability of the project's investment attractiveness has been established even in the pessimistic scenario (ROI = 32.1%), which confirms the feasibility of integrating TPMS/ATIS. The results obtained and the developed practical recommendations can be used by stakeholders in the transport industry for the feasibility study of fleet modernization strategies. The implementation of the proposed tool allows logistics companies to reduce the cost of transportation, increase the service life of assets and strengthen their competitive positions in the market.
