Abstract: The article examines the economic aspects of improving the efficiency of fire-extinguishing systems in the context of increasing demands for resource conservation and energy efficiency in the operation of local security facilities. Special attention is paid to comparing traditional technical solutions with mobile energy-efficient fire extinguishing units, which are based on the use of alternative principles for delivering fire-extinguishing substances. The aim of the study is to develop a methodological approach for assessing the economic efficiency of mobile energy-efficient fire extinguishing units, taking into account resource and operational parameters. The methodological basis consists of comparative analysis methods, calculation-analytical approaches, and elements of techno-economic modeling. The assessment of efficiency is carried out based on a system of indicators that covers energy resource costs, fire-extinguishing substances, operational expenses, as well as the duration of the fire suppression process. The summary indicator allows determining the total costs for one fire extinguishing cycle and calculating the relative economic effect. The study takes into account the technological feature of the innovative installation, which provides for the supply of water in combination with carbon dioxide, serving both as a displacer and an additional fire-extinguishing agent that enhances suppression efficiency. According to the results of the calculations and comparative analysis, it was found that the use of mobile energy-efficient installations allows reducing total costs, lowering resource consumption, and shortening the duration of fire suppression. A generalized model for assessing the economic effect has been proposed, which ensures comprehensive consideration of the technical and economic parameters of the operation of fire suppression systems. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use for substantiating managerial decisions regarding the implementation of energy-efficient technologies in local security systems.
