Abstract:
The aim of the article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of Ukraine’s foreign economic transformations during the full-scale war and to substantiate their impact on forming an efficient model of integration into the global economy in the context of modern geo-economic challenges and changes in global economic processes. The study uses a systematic approach to analyzing economic processes, methods of structural and comparative analysis, as well as economic-logical generalizations. The information base consists of data from international organizations, official Ukrainian statistics, and results of modern scientific research, which allowed for ensuring the comprehensiveness, objectivity, and validity of the obtained results, as well as forming a complete understanding of the transformational processes in the foreign economic sphere. It has been found that Ukraine’s foreign economic activity has undergone significant transformations, which are reflected in changes in the structure of exports, the growing role of the agricultural sector, and a decrease in the share of industrial products. It is argued that the reorientation of trade flows towards European Union countries has become a key direction for adapting the economy to the conditions of wartime and new external restrictions. It has been proved that disruptions to traditional logistics routes have led to the creation of alternative transport corridors, which helped maintain exports but caused increased costs and reduced the efficiency of foreign economic activity. It has been determined that these modern transformations create the conditions for Ukraine’s integration into global production chains through the development of high-tech sectors, digitalization, and innovative modernization of production. The results of the study can be used in shaping the country’s foreign economic policy, developing strategies for Ukraine’s postwar economic recovery, and determining priorities for integration into the global economic system. The scientific novelty lies in a comprehensive approach to analyzing the relationship between the transformation of foreign trade, logistics systems, and Ukraine’s integration processes into the global economy in wartime conditions. This broadens existing approaches to assessing geoeconomic changes and allows for the development of practical recommendations to improve the efficiency of the State’s foreign economic activity.
