Abstract:
The relevance of the problem of managing the financial stability of enterprises in wartime is due to the intensification of macroeconomic instability, inflationary pressure, currency fluctuations, disruption of logistical connections and the growth of financial risks for business entities. In modern conditions, the financial stability of an enterprise is one of the key characteristics of its financial condition, as it determines the ability to maintain solvency, ensure continuity of activity, generate positive financial results and adapt to changes in the external and internal environment. In wartime, traditional approaches to managing financial stability need to be improved, taking into account modern economic challenges and a high level of uncertainty. The aim of the article is to substantiate conceptual approaches to improving the mechanism for managing the financial stability of an enterprise in wartime. To achieve this goal, a comprehensive approach was used, which included methods of analysis and synthesis, comparative, statistical and dynamic analysis, coefficient and risk-oriented approaches, as well as systemic and conceptual approaches to substantiating the directions for improving the mechanism for managing financial stability. The information base of the study was made up of scientific works of domestic scientists, official data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine and statistical indicators of the functioning of enterprises. In the process of the study, modern scientific approaches to the interpretation of the essence of the financial stability of an enterprise, methods of its assessment and factors of influence in wartime conditions were analyzed. It was found that in modern economic literature there is no single approach to the definition of the concept of "financial stability of an enterprise", and most scientific research is focused mainly on traditional methods of assessing the financial condition without the formation of a comprehensive mechanism for adapting an enterprise to wartime conditions. The impact of inflationary processes, currency instability, a decrease in business activity and an increase in financial risks on Ukrainian enterprises was studied. The results of the study substantiated the need to improve the mechanism for managing the financial stability of enterprises through a comprehensive combination of liquidity, capital structure and financial risk management tools. The conception of managing the financial stability of an enterprise, adapted to wartime conditions, is proposed, which involves optimizing the capital structure, forming liquidity reserves, improving cash flow management and implementing risk-oriented approaches in the financial management system. The results obtained expand scientific approaches to ensuring the financial stability of enterprises in wartime conditions and can be used by business entities to increase the level of financial security, solvency and adaptability to crisis operating conditions.
