Abstract:
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of strategic management of industrial enterprises in the context of the entropic dynamics of the economy. It is substantiated that contemporary transformational processes, associated with the intensification of economic instability, military risks, digital transformation, structural imbalances, and the increase in the level of uncertainty, necessitate a rethinking of traditional approaches to strategic management of industrial enterprises. The essence of the entropic dynamics of the economy has been defined as a process of increasing chaos, instability, and loss of control in socioeconomic systems, which directly affects the functioning of the industrial sector. It has been proved that the efficiency of strategic management in industrial enterprises largely depends on the level of adaptability of the management system, the ability to respond quickly to changes in the external environment, as well as the integration of modern management, digital, and crisis management approaches. The impact of entropy processes on the transformation of strategic management has been analyzed, particularly in terms of increasing the requirements for the flexibility of management decisions, strategic resilience, risk-oriented management, and ensuring the continuity of production processes. The necessity of transitioning to adaptive models of strategic management, which ensure the stability of operations and long-term competitiveness of industrial enterprises, has been substantiated. The key directions for enhancing the efficiency of strategic management in industrial enterprises under the conditions of an entropic economic dynamic have been identified, including the digitalization of management processes, the development of strategic monitoring, the implementation of adaptive management mechanisms, the improvement of the risk management system, the modernization of production, and the formation of the enterprise’s strategic potential. It has been proved that the comprehensive implementation of the mentioned directions contributes to the formation of a stable, flexible, and competitive system of strategic management for industrial enterprises. The obtained results can be used for the further development of theoretical principles of strategic management of industrial enterprises, as well as in the practical activities of economic entities when forming adaptive development strategies in the conditions of the entropic dynamics of the economy.
