Abstract: In the current context of financial market transformation, the potential of non-state pension funds as institutional investors capable of accumulating substantial financial resources and directing them toward socially oriented investment projects is gaining particular significance. At the same time, the integration of non-state pension funds into the social investment strategies of business structures, with due consideration of international experience, remains insufficiently explored in Ukrainian scholarly literature. This determines the research gap that the present study seeks to address. The aim of the article is to examine the theoretical and practical foundations of forming social investment strategies of business structures with the participation of non-state pension funds, to summarize international experience in their functioning, and to substantiate the prospects for adapting relevant models to Ukrainian conditions. The methodological basis of the study comprises a set of general scientific and special research methods, including analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, the systems approach, institutional analysis, generalization of international practices, and logical modeling for developing recommendations aimed at improving mechanisms of interaction between business entities and non-state pension funds. As a result of the study, the key models of participation of non-state pension funds in the implementation of socially oriented business investment strategies are identified; the specific features of their functioning in economically developed countries are characterized; and the factors that ensure an efficient combination of financial return and social impact of investments are determined. It is found that international experience demonstrates the growing role of responsible investment, ESG approaches, and investments with measurable social impact in the activities of pension funds. The study substantiates the expediency of expanding the investment opportunities of Ukrainian non-state pension funds, improving the regulatory framework, and stimulating partnership among business entities, pension funds, and the state. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of conceptual approaches to the formation of social investment strategies of business structures with the involvement of non-state pension funds as key institutional investors, as well as in the adaptation of international social investment practices to the current conditions of Ukraine. The study further refines the understanding of mechanisms for integrating the financial and social objectives of investment activity within the framework of pension provision.
