Abstract: Wine products belong to the category of goods that are highly sensitive to temperature fluctuations, humidity, vibrations, and other environmental factors. Violating recommended transportation and storage conditions can lead to a deterioration of the wine’s organoleptic properties, a decrease in its consumer value, and additional logistics costs. Therefore, creating an efficient cold supply chain that ensures continuous temperature control at all stages of product movement from the producer to the end consumer becomes very important. Despite a fairly large number of studies in the field of cold supply chains, the issue of organizing cold supply chains specifically in wine distribution remains under-researched. The aim of the study is to identify the features of building a cold supply chain in wine distribution and to substantiate the logistical approaches for ensuring continuous temperature control at all stages of movement of wine products. The study used methods of theoretical generalization and systematization, analysis and synthesis, structural-logical modeling, comparative analysis, formalization, and logical generalization of results. The main characteristics of wine as a logistics management object were examined, and factors affecting the preservation of its quality during transportation and storage were systematized. A structure for the cold supply chain in wine distribution was proposed, covering the stages of production, international transport, customs clearance, warehousing, internal distribution, and product sales. Key risks in breaking the cold supply chain have been identified, with the most critical being product overheating, transportation delays, improper storage conditions, lack of digital monitoring, and insufficient coordination among supply chain participants. A system of performance indicators for evaluating the cold supply chain has been proposed, which includes the temperature compliance rate, on-time delivery metrics, product quality preservation, and logistics costs. An integrated efficiency indicator for the cold supply chain has been developed, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of logistics performance in the wine distribution system. Practical approaches to ensuring continuity of the cold supply chain have been substantiated, based on the use of specialized transport, storage infrastructure, digital monitoring systems, and modern information technologies. Future research should focus on developing digital models for managing cold supply chains in wine distribution, using AI to predict logistics risks, implementing solutions to boost supply chain traceability, and creating optimization models for managing logistics in the wine industry.
