Abstract: The relevance of the problem is driven by the need to critically rethink and clarify the role of platformization in the systemic transformation of enterprise business models within the digital environment. The aim of the article is to develop conceptual foundations for enterprise business model platformization as an organizational and economic mechanism for the innovative support of socioeconomic system transformations in the digital environment, as well as to form its functional classification. The methodological framework of the study comprises systemic and ecosystem approaches, methods of classification, typologization, analysis, and synthesis. The evolution of enterprise business models from traditional to digital, platformized, intellectualized, and adaptive architecture is researched; the transformational essence of platformization and its functional mechanisms are identified. Based on the findings, a conceptual model of enterprise business model platformization is formulated, integrating technological infrastructure, network interaction, and data-driven management. An author’s definition of a platformized business model is proposed, conceptualizing it as an organizational and economic form of business architecture that enables systemic transformation across the economic, social, technological, information, and innovation subsystems of an enterprise through ecosystem collaboration, direct-to-consumerchannels, open application programming interfaces, business process algorithmization, and decentralized data governance. Functional contours of platformization – technological, network, and intellectual – are substantiated, securing digital infrastructure integration, value creation network expansion, and data utilization in coordination and managerial decision-making, respectively. A classification of platformized business models based on their dominant role in socioeconomic system transformation is developed, encompassing infrastructure adaptation, ecosystem interaction, intellectualized management, and subject personalization. A matrix of functional adaptation of platformized business models is constructed, establishing alignment between model type, enterprise subsystem transformation direction, platformization mechanisms, organizational and economic changes, and quantitative evaluation indicators. It is identified that platformization is not a discrete technological state, but a systemic mechanism for restructuring business architecture, resulting in fundamental shifts in value creation, interaction, coordination, and enterprise management. The proposed framework can be applied to diagnose the dominant platformization direction, prioritize digital and innovative transformation strategies, and quantitatively assess its impact on the performance of enterprise socioeconomic systems.
