Abstract:
The article substantiates the conceptual foundations of innovative recovery of the national economy amid large-scale structural, technological, social, and geopolitical transformations. The economic nature of innovative recovery is revealed as a systemic process of reproducing and enhancing economic potential based on technological renewal, structural modernization, human potential development, institutional change, and the introduction of new models of organizing economic activity. The distinction between innovative recovery and traditional recovery is identified, consisting in its focus not on restoring the economic system to its previous state but on shaping a qualitatively new, more productive, resource-efficient, competitive, and resilient development model. The evolution of scientific approaches to economic reconstruction and recovery is summarized, tracing the transition from the conception of physically reproducing production capacities and infrastructure to an understanding of recovery as a comprehensive process of structural, technological, institutional, and socioeconomic transformation. It is substantiated that, for Ukraine, innovative recovery should combine reconstruction with the modernization and transformation of the economy, the development of science, technology, and human capital, digital and green transformation, the formation of new technological value chains, and integration into European and global economic processes. The main dimensions of innovative recovery are identified: technological, structural, investment, institutional, human, digital, environmental, and spatial. The necessity of developing an innovation ecosystem for recovery is demonstrated as an environment for interaction among the State, business, science, education, and other economic actors, ensuring the efficient use of resources and continuous improvement in the quality of economic development.

Keywords: innovative recovery; national economy; economic reconstruction; structural transformation; technological modernization; economic potential; innovation ecosystem; human potential; postwar recovery; economic development.
