Place of work: Research Center for Industrial Development Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Chief Researcher; Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Professor of the Department of International Trade, Customs Affairs and Financial Technologies.

Research interests:
– theory of competition and competitiveness of socio-economic systems;
– state regulations and deregulations of entrepreneurial activity;
– tax policy and taxation;
– tax regulation of socio-economic processes;
– regional economy.

Author of more than 800 scientific, educational and methodological works, including: 3 encyclopedias, over 80 monographs, 7course books, 28 study guides.
Author of numerous scientific and analytical reports and notes addressed to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; co-author of the Analytical Report of the President of Ukraine (2016–2017).
