Abstract: The article examines the role of business ethics as a key tool for managing Ukrainian enterprises under martial law. Business ethics is considered not only as a set of moral norms, but as a strategic resource that affects the effectiveness of managerial decision-making, the formation of corporate culture, social cohesion and competitiveness of enterprises. The relationship between ethical norms and corporate culture is highlighted, in particular through the regulatory, integration, motivational, reputational and strategic functions of business ethics, which provide moral guidelines for employees, stabilize the team, increase productivity and strengthen the reputation of the enterprise. Special attention is paid to the integration of ethical principles into ESG strategies, which allows combining economic efficiency with social responsibility, transparency and trust from employees, partners and society. The article identifies the prospects for the development of business ethics in Ukraine, including increasing the institutional role of ethics, educational and professional development, digitalization of ethical processes, international integration, support for innovation and the formation of a national corporate identity. The authors emphasize that the introduction of ethical norms into strategic management allows for the creation of a sustainable and competitive management system that is capable of ensuring economic stability and social responsibility of enterprises in the post-war period. The study demonstrates that business ethics in modern conditions is transformed from a normative set of rules of conduct into a strategic management resource that contributes to the harmonization of economic, social and moral goals of enterprises, ensuring the formation of sustainable and responsible business even in crisis and war conditions.
Keywords: business ethics, corporate culture, social responsibility, sustainable management, strategic management, ESG-strategy.
