Abstract:
The aim of the article is to identify and systematize the economic determinants of entrepreneurship development in the renewable energy sector of Ukraine, analyze their opportunities and barriers under wartime and post-wartime conditions, and formulate recommendations for their implementation in government policy and the entrepreneurial environment. The economic determinants of entrepreneurship development in the renewable energy sector of Ukraine were investigated. The theoretical foundations of the concept of «determinants» were defined, and the main approaches to their classification were outlined. Attention was paid to the economic classification of determinants, which includes macroeconomic, institutional, market, financial, and innovative components, all of which have a decisive impact on entrepreneurial structures in the field of renewable energy sources (RES). The opportunities and barriers shaped by economic determinants have been examined, including the growing demand for green energy, international support, innovative and digital changes, as well as instability in regulatory policies, limited access to financing, and macroeconomic risks. It has been demonstrated that economic determinants are ambivalent in nature: they simultaneously create incentives for development and pose barriers that must be considered in strategic management. Particular attention is given to analyzing the conditions for entrepreneurship development during wartime and post-wartime periods, including the stability of the legal and regulatory framework, access to financing, innovation and digitalization of production processes, development of partnership networks, and human resource potential. Based on the generalization of opportunities, risks, and barriers, a structural-logical model for implementing the economic determinants of entrepreneurship development in the field of renewable energy has been constructed, reflecting the interconnection between government policies and the entrepreneurial environment. The article also presents the potential economic effects of promoting entrepreneurship in renewable energy, including GDP growth, employment increases, reduced energy dependence, and strengthened innovation. It is concluded that promoting entrepreneurship in the renewable energy sector is a strategically important factor for Ukraine’s economic growth, energy security, and post-wartime recovery.

Keywords: entrepreneurship, renewable energy, innovation development, energy security, post-war recovery, government policy.
