Abstract: In the current context of the digital economy, digital platforms play a significant role in shaping the competitiveness of innovative enterprises by creating new opportunities for scaling startup projects. The rapid development of information and communication technologies, the spread of platform-based business models, and the increasing significance of digital ecosystems are substantially transforming traditional approaches to organizing entrepreneurial activities. In this context, studying the mechanisms of using digital platforms as a tool for scaling innovative startups becomes particularly important. The aim of this article is to examine the role of digital platforms in the processes of scaling innovative startup projects and to identify key factors for the efficient use of platform solutions in entrepreneurial development. The study considers the main characteristics of digital platforms, their economic nature, and functional features. An analysis of modern platform-based business models used by startups to accelerate growth and enter global markets has been conducted. The article identifies the main advantages of using digital platforms for startups, including reducing transaction costs, expanding market access, attracting investments, creating digital ecosystems, and accelerating innovation processes. The factors influencing the efficiency of scaling startup projects through platform solutions have also been examined. Based on this analysis, a model of interaction between startups and digital platforms has been developed, illustrating the key stages of scaling innovative businesses. Practical recommendations for using platform tools to foster startup development in the modern digital economy are provided.
