Abstract: The introduction of modern digital technologies into business changes the technology of economic activity and guest services and completely transforms the management system model of hospitality establishments towards automation. We have studied the specifics of the impact on business processes of such digitalization tools as next-generation hotel management systems (PMS), artificial intelligence and chatbots, technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT), such as smart rooms, contactless service technologies, virtual and augmented reality, safety and hygiene technologies (contactless disinfection systems, air quality monitoring), and robots for each of the processes (concierge robots, automated check-in desks, delivery and cleaning robots). The digitalization of business processes in hospitality enterprises improves the quality of guest service. Investing in technological innovations in the HoReCa sector is the foundation for steering an enterprise towards development and underlies the creation of a digital transformation roadmap for the establishment. The development of hospitality enterprises towards innovation ensures the growth of competitive advantages, increases guest loyalty, and contributes to the optimization of operational costs, which ensures an increase in the economic efficiency of the business and its competitiveness. Continuous improvement through the integration of technical, technological trends, and innovative business solutions into enterprises ensures the successful operation of hotel and restaurant business enterprises. Our research has shown that a modern tool for implementation in the activities of HoReCa establishments is the use of tools based on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Such technologies make a hospitality establishment fully adapted to the personalized needs of guests, turning a hotel room into an intelligent space. The most significant achievement of applying Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is their energy efficiency while simultaneously creating the maximum level of comfort. Software solutions like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or proprietary tools developed by the hotel, serve as the foundation for the functioning of IoT-based tools. A significant feature of using these technologies is that they understand commands spoken by users in various languages. Additionally, personalization of service is ensured by the fact that such software complexes are capable of remembering guests’ preferences. Integrating tools developed based on IoT technologies into guest service business processes makes the business unique, economically efficient, and for the guest – unforgettable. The functional capabilities of such technologies (smart room, smart TVs, smart mirror, smart thermostats, and motion sensors) simplify guest service. Energy-saving technologies based on IoT technologies in hotel and restaurant enterprises and the effectiveness of their application confirm the feasibility of their implementation.
