Abstract:
The aim of the article is to substantiate the role of business process digitalization as a vector for enhancing the level of innovation and investment attractiveness of enterprises in a dynamic competitive environment, as well as to develop its key directions and implementation tools. In the course of the study, the following research methods were employed: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, tabular methods, visualization, and logical generalization. The concept of innovation and investment attractiveness of an enterprise has been further refined as a comprehensive characteristic reflecting its capacity to attract investments for the implementation of innovative projects and to ensure sustainable development. Based on a comparison between digitally transformed and traditional enterprises, it has been concluded that the digitalization of business processes not only improves operational efficiency but also creates favorable conditions for innovation-driven development, increases business value, and strengthens competitive positions in a dynamic and highly competitive environment. The impact of business process digitalization on the innovation and investment attractiveness of enterprises has been visualized through the following sequence: “external challenges – digitalization – business transformation – investments – efficiency through innovation – competitive advantages – resilience – sustainable development.” It has been noted that under conditions of globalization, the development of the digital economy, intensifying competition, and rapid technological progress, enterprises are compelled to adapt to numerous challenges through the digitalization of their business processes. The use of such tools as ERP, CRM, Big Data, cloud technologies, and robotic process automation (RPA) enables enterprises to transform their operations through automation, efficient resource utilization, and data-driven decision-making. These tools generate economic, organizational, and innovative effects, including cost reduction, productivity growth, improved management quality, and the development of new products and business models. This, in turn, enhances the innovation and investment attractiveness of enterprises, increases investor confidence and the volume of investments, and ultimately contributes to the formation of competitive advantages and sustainable development. Based on a comprehensive approach, key directions, tools, and effects of business process digitalization are proposed for practical application as a vector for increasing the level of innovation and investment attractiveness of enterprises across various sectors of the national economy.
