Abstract:
The article studies the theoretical aspects of intellectualization and innovation in higher education in the context of digital transformation and the development of the knowledge economy. It is substantiated that the modern higher education system acts as a strategic factor in forming the intellectual potential of society, developing human capital, and ensuring the innovative development of the State. It is determined that the intellectualization of higher education is a comprehensive process of modernizing the educational environment, integrating science, education, and digital technologies, aimed at developing modern competencies and fostering innovative thinking. The features of forming an innovative educational environment in the conditions of the knowledge economy are analyzed, and the role of digital technologies, distance learning, interactive platforms, and artificial intelligence tools in transforming the educational process is characterized. It has been found that the innovativeness of higher education contributes to improving the quality of educational services, the development of academic mobility, and the integration of higher education institutions into the global educational space. The strategic role of higher education in developing the intellectual potential of society, ensuring the competitiveness of the economy, and shaping modern human capital has been examined. It has been determined that important directions for the development of the higher education system include strengthening the interaction between education, science, business, and the State, developing innovative ecosystems, improving the management system of higher education institutions, and implementing a competency-based approach. The main problems of developing the higher education system in terms of its intellectualization have been identified, among which are the insufficient level of digital infrastructure, the inconsistency of certain educational programs with the current labor market requirements, the limited funding of innovative activities, and insufficient integration of science and business. The strategic directions for the development of intellectualization and innovativeness of higher education in the context of global transformations and postwar recovery of Ukraine are substantiated.
