Abstract:
The study is aimed at identifying the factors that improve the efficiency of logistics outsourcing within the 3PL services system under conditions of an unstable external environment, the transformation of global supply chains, the digitalization of logistic processes, and increasing requirements for the quality of logistics services. The aim of the article is to substantiate the key factors influencing the efficiency of logistics outsourcing in the 3PL services system, identify the main problems of cooperation between enterprises and logistics operators, and develop conceptual directions for improving the efficiency of their collaboration. The study employs methods of analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, system and comparative analysis, logical generalization, the structural-functional approach, and comprehensive assessment of the organizational, informational, and managerial factors affecting the efficiency of logistics outsourcing. The study identifies that the use of third-party logistics (3PL) operators is the most widespread form of logistics outsourcing, enabling enterprises to delegate the management of material, information, and service flows to specialized providers. The main factors reducing the efficiency of outsourcing cooperation are identified, including insufficient quality and standardization of input data, inaccurate forecasting of cargo flows, low levels of digital integration, inadequate standardization of business processes, and the predominance of price-based criteria in selecting logistics partners. It is demonstrated that the effectiveness of cooperation depends on the enterprise’s level of digitalization, the quality of management data, the degree of information integration, process discipline, compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs), and efficient logistics cost management. A conceptual approach to developing efficient interaction between enterprises and 3PL operators is proposed, based on the creation of a unified information environment, improvement of management data quality, integration of information systems, and shared responsibility for logistics performance. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comprehensive substantiation of a system of organizational, informational, technological, and managerial factors determining the efficiency of logistics outsourcing in the 3PL services system. It is proved that achieving high outsourcing performance requires integrated digital collaboration, standardized business processes, transparent information flows, and the development of long-term partnership relations among participants in the logistics chain. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of applying its results by enterprises, logistics operators, and other supply chain participants to improve logistics outsourcing management, optimize cooperation with 3PL providers, enhance logistics service quality, reduce operating costs, and strengthen the competitive position of enterprises.

Keywords: logistics outsourcing; 3PL provider; efficiency; logistics; supply chains, digitalization; forecasting product flows; competitiveness of the enterprise.
