Price Disparity Problem and its Solutions in the Agro-industrial Complex (AIC) (p. 129 - 133)
The article investigates the causes and reasons for the emergence and spread of price disparity in agricultural industries; highlights the current state of inter-industry relations; offers recommendations for dealing with the problems of pricing in the current conditions. The urgency of the pricing policy is the need to neutralize the negative impact of structural deformations in the agricultural sector, which are due to imperfection of the mechanism of state regulation and are expressed in strengthening of nonequivalent interbranch exchange, particularly between the first and third areas of agribusiness. Unequal distribution of income within the AIC has a negative impact on the main economic indicators of agricultural enterprises. The need to address the price disparity set the goal of the scientific article: as a result of the study the feasibility of the use of public leverage was determined and the priorities of the state policy in the area of pricing was justified, in particular: establishing regulated prices of major agricultural products; antitrust actions; the creation of integrated agricultural systems and agricultural cooperatives with complete production cycle; provision of innovative development; monitoring of the price mechanisms; updating of the regulatory framework. The prospect for further research is to study the practical aspects of public policy in the field of pricing at both the macro and microeconomic level.
